Responsibility
- Source and procure materials, products, and services from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delays or quality concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing or logistics industry is a plus.
