Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the entire living kidney donor transplant process, from initial evaluation to post-operative follow-up.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-transplant assessments of donors, including medical, psychological, and social evaluations.
- Educate donors and recipients on transplant procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations to ensure informed consent.
- Liaise with surgeons, nephrologists, and healthcare teams to schedule surgeries, tests, and consultations efficiently.
- Develop and maintain detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional and logistical support to donors and families throughout the transplant journey.
- Monitor post-transplant outcomes and coordinate follow-up care to optimize donor and recipient health.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance transplant program efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transplant coordination, nephrology, or critical care.
- Certification in Transplant Nursing (e.g., CCTN) or similar is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of living donor evaluation protocols, transplant ethics, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to manage complex cases and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Proficiency in medical documentation systems and compliance with healthcare data standards.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
