As a Lithography Process Engineer, you will be the technical lead responsible for the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the photolithography module. Responsibility

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize photolithography processes including coating, alignment, exposure, and development steps.
  • Perform detailed analysis of process data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure tool stability and product quality.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for process defects and equipment deviations to minimize downtime and prevent yield loss.
  • Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for process characterization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to define process windows for new product nodes and technological transitions.
  • Manage recipe creation and optimization for ASML, Nikon, or Canon lithography systems and tracks.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide technical training to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Drive cost-reduction projects through chemical consumption optimization and cycle time improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor photolithography manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency with lithography exposure tools (steppers/scanners) and track systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of photoresist chemistry, optical proximity correction (OPC), and metrology (CD-SEM, Overlay).
  • Advanced data analysis skills using JMP, Minitab, or similar statistical software.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects under tight manufacturing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical reports to stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech cleanroom environment.
