Responsibility
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen station at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards strictly to uphold health regulations.
- Assist in plating dishes to meet presentation standards and enhance guest experience.
- Adapt to menu changes and seasonal ingredients with flexibility and creativity.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic understanding of English (written and verbal) for effective communication.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
