Responsibility
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking ingredients and monitoring supply levels.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and high-quality food preparation during peak hours.
- Follow portion control and waste reduction practices to optimize food costs.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards to uphold food safety and quality.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff and sharing best practices.
- Contribute ideas for menu improvements or seasonal specials.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or cafe.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (HACCP or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
