Responsibility
- Develop creative and functional lighting designs that align with project requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into overall design plans.
- Create detailed lighting layouts, specifications, and schedules using industry-standard software.
- Select and specify lighting fixtures, controls, and systems that meet aesthetic, technical, and budgetary criteria.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess lighting conditions, verify installations, and ensure design intent is achieved.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in lighting design to deliver innovative and compliant solutions.
- Prepare and present design concepts, renderings, and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely procurement and installation of lighting components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lighting Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in lighting design software such as Dialux, Relux, or AGI32, and CAD tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of lighting technologies, including LED, smart lighting systems, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Strong understanding of lighting standards, codes, and best practices in the industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
