Responsibility
- Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for light vehicle mechanics, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools for automotive technology courses
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions in modern automotive workshops, ensuring students gain real-world technical skills
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, written exams, and project-based evaluations
- Maintain and manage training equipment, tools, and workshop facilities to ensure optimal learning conditions
- Stay current with automotive industry trends, emerging technologies, and manufacturer-specific training requirements
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and career guidance to students pursuing automotive careers
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop internship opportunities and job placement programs for graduates
- Participate in curriculum review and development to ensure training programs meet industry standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in light vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, or repair
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Previous teaching or training experience in automotive technology (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diagnostics
- Familiarity with OBD-II diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific software
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Certification from recognized automotive training programs (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific certifications) is a plus
