Responsibility
- Conduct one-on-one and group stretching sessions tailored to clientsâ needs, focusing on improving flexibility, mobility, and recovery.
- Assess clientsâ physical conditions, movement patterns, and goals to develop personalized stretching and mobility plans.
- Educate clients on proper stretching techniques, posture alignment, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to integrate stretching therapy into comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Stay updated on the latest stretching methodologies, tools (e.g., resistance bands, PNF techniques), and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in accordance with health and hygiene standards.
- Promote Heartland Rehabâs services through community outreach, workshops, or social media to attract new clients.
Qualifications
- Certification in Stretch Therapy (e.g., NASM, ACE, or equivalent) or a related field (e.g., Physical Therapy, Sports Science).
- Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) as a Stretch Therapist, Mobility Coach, or similar role, preferably in a clinical or wellness setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and the principles of stretching and myofascial release.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Ability to adapt stretching techniques for clients with varying needs, including athletes, seniors, and post-injury individuals.
- Familiarity with assistive tools (e.g., straps, foam rollers) and hands-on techniques (e.g., PNF, dynamic stretching).
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
