Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs and rehabilitation goals.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and assistive technologies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies, home exercises, and adaptive tools for long-term progress.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy by participating in continuing education and training.
- Adhere to ethical standards and hospital policies while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation, pediatric, or geriatric settings preferred.
- Proficiency in administering standardized assessments (e.g., MBSS, FEES, or Bedside Swallow Evaluations).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is advantageous.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative team approach.
