Responsibility
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor students with chronic health conditions.
- Conduct health screenings, including vision, hearing, and general wellness checks.
- Develop and implement health education programs on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive student care.
- Monitor and manage communicable diseases and implement infection control measures.
- Promote a healthy school environment by advising on safety protocols and health policies.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (Indonesian or internationally recognized with local registration).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a school, pediatric, or community health setting.
- Strong knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health information with discretion.
- Familiarity with public health principles and health promotion strategies.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the needs of an international student body.
