Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye refraction tests using advanced optometric equipment to determine accurate prescriptions.
- Take precise pupillary distance (PD), lens height, and frame measurements for custom eyewear fittings.
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable lenses, coatings, and frames based on customer needs and lifestyle.
- Educate customers on eye health, lens options, and proper eyewear care to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Assist in the selection, adjustment, and repair of eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer prescriptions and purchase histories in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and opticians to ensure seamless referrals for specialized eye care when needed.
- Stay current with the latest optometric trends, technologies, and products to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Optometry, Ophthalmic Dispensing, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Valid optician or optometrist license (or eligibility to obtain one in Indonesia).
- Prior experience in retail optics, eye examinations, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to precision in measurements and prescriptions.
- Basic knowledge of optometric tools (e.g., autorefractors, lensometers, phoropters) or willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
