As a Licensed Podiatrist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of foot and lower limb conditions, from common ailments like bunions and plantar fasciitis to complex diabetic foot care. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough foot and lower limb assessments, including gait analysis, biomechanical evaluations, and diagnostic imaging interpretations.
- Diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, and diabetic foot ulcers.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including nail surgeries, wart removals, and soft tissue corrections, adhering to sterile protocols.
- Prescribe and fit orthotics, insoles, and supportive footwear to address structural or functional abnormalities.
- Educate patients on preventive foot care, proper footwear, and lifestyle adjustments to promote long-term podiatric health.
- Collaborate with general practitioners, physiotherapists, and endocrinologists to manage complex cases, particularly for diabetic or geriatric patients.
- Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Stay updated on advances in podiatric medicine and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice podiatry in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialist podiatry setting.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating common and complex foot conditions across all age groups.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and pressure plate analysis.
- Strong communication and patient education skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
