Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical conditions to develop personalized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Design and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate residents and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and adaptive techniques for daily living.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate physiotherapy into holistic care plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in geriatric physiotherapy and apply best practices to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice physiotherapy in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with preference given to candidates with geriatric or neurological rehabilitation background.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with expertise in aging-related conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
