As part of our expanding team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing personalized physiotherapy programs to enhance patient recovery, mobility, and quality of life. Responsibility
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical conditions, including cardiothoracic post-surgical cases, to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
- Design and implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for acute and outpatient cardiac patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention techniques.
- Utilize advanced therapeutic equipment and techniques, including manual therapy, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy where applicable.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to contribute to patient care planning.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac physiotherapy and apply best practices in clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure to practice physiotherapy in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic or acute care physiotherapy; ICU experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation protocols and post-surgical care for cardiothoracic patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
