Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical assessments, and functional movement analysis.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, goals, and conditions.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to promote recovery.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and adaptive techniques for daily living.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and adjust treatments as needed.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in physical therapy and participate in continuing education.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Indonesian or international physical therapy license (eligible for local registration).
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, or geriatrics (fresh graduates with strong internships may apply).
- Proficient in English and Indonesian (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with hands-on skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.
- CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Meditech, Epic) preferred.
