Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring compliance with local and international pharmacy regulations.
- Provide personalized medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Conduct health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, glucose levels) and recommend over-the-counter solutions where appropriate.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans and resolve medication-related queries.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and auditing pharmaceutical supplies to prevent shortages or expirations.
- Educate patients on chronic disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications for better health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and local privacy laws.
- Stay updated on emerging pharmaceutical trends, new medications, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical or retail pharmacy experience; experience in international healthcare settings is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of local and international drug regulations, including controlled substances.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
