Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations, including prescription dispensing, inventory control, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure accurate and safe medication distribution by verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, and providing dosage recommendations.
- Offer professional counseling to patients and healthcare providers on proper medication use, side effects, and therapeutic alternatives.
- Maintain compliance with local, national, and hospital pharmacy regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to review and adjust medication therapies for optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking controlled substances and high-demand medications.
- Lead or assist in pharmacy staff training, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active Pharmacist License in the Philippines (PRC registration required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting (fresh graduates with strong academic records may be considered).
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office applications.
