Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and repair or replace faulty components.
- Plan and execute electrical layouts for new installations or renovations, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate electrical work on projects.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of electrical systems.
- Document all work performed, including diagrams, test results, and maintenance records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical condition and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Commitment to safety standards and willingness to comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
