As a Chargeman B0/1, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure, adhering to Indonesia’s strict PU (Pekerjaan Umum) regulations and international safety standards. Responsibility
- Supervise and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems in compliance with PU and PLN standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Lead a team of electricians and technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, PPE, arc flash protection).
- Prepare and submit technical reports, including load calculations, fault analysis, and compliance documentation for regulatory audits.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools (e.g., megger, insulation testers, thermal imaging) and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to design and upgrade electrical systems for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure all electrical work meets SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) and international codes (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Maintain inventory of electrical components, tools, and safety equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Valid Chargeman B0/1 license issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chargeman or Senior Electrician in industrial, commercial, or utility sectors.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent technical certifications accepted.
- In-depth knowledge of HV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, and protection relays (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Schneider).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and PLC logic.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and renewable energy integration (solar, backup generators).
- Willingness to work in Badung, Bali, with flexibility for on-call duties and occasional travel.
