Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for R&D projects to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track software/hardware defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define quality metrics, acceptance criteria, and compliance standards for new products.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and propose corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce failure rates.
- Automate testing processes where possible to increase efficiency and coverage, leveraging tools like Selenium, Python, or LabVIEW.
- Ensure all products meet international quality standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL) and regulatory requirements before market release.
- Participate in design reviews and provide QA insights to influence product development from the early stages.
- Generate detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QA engineering, preferably in R&D environments for electronics, semiconductor, or embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (manual and automated) and quality assurance frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or Java) for test automation.
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) and lab environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 9001, IEC 62368, UL) and compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality improvement.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with global teams.
