Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients, including medical history, dietary habits, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement personalized meal plans tailored to individual health goals, allergies, and cultural preferences.
- Educate clients and their families on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and disease management through one-on-one counseling and group workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting dietary recommendations as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fitness professionals to integrate nutrition into holistic treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest nutrition research and evidence-based practices to inform clinical decisions.
- Create educational materials (e.g., brochures, social media content) to promote nutrition awareness in the community.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Dietitian/Nutritionist (e.g., RD, RDN, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical or community nutrition experience (preferably in a multicultural setting).
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in English (additional fluency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus).
- Familiarity with nutrition software (e.g., Cronometer, EatRight) and electronic health records.
