Responsibility
- Design and implement customized aquatic therapy programs for clients with diverse needs, including injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and athletic performance enhancement.
- Conduct one-on-one and group hydrotherapy sessions, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, sports medicine specialists, and wellness coaches to integrate aquatic therapy into comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting programs as needed to optimize outcomes and achieve therapeutic goals.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of aquatic therapy equipment and facilities, adhering to industry standards and hygiene protocols.
- Educate clients on the benefits of aquatic therapy, proper techniques, and self-care strategies to support their long-term wellness journey.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and research in hydrotherapy and rehabilitation to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community wellness events to promote Java Sporties’ mission and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as an Aquatic Therapist (e.g., AEA, ATRI, or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Proven experience in rehabilitation, sports therapy, or geriatric care, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt therapy programs to meet individual client needs.
- Passion for holistic wellness and a commitment to continuous professional development.
