Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update digital files as needed.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Provide chairside support, including handing instruments and operating suction devices.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for patient record management and digital imaging.
- Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
