Responsibility
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies, to ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal departments on matters related to banking operations, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Monitor changes in financial laws and regulations, updating internal policies and procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Represent the bank in legal proceedings, including disputes, arbitrations, and negotiations with external parties.
- Conduct due diligence and legal research to support business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies to address legal inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for employees on legal compliance, ethical standards, and best practices in banking.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; a Master's degree in Law or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial laws, banking regulations, and corporate governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in legal research, contract drafting, and dispute resolution.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
