Responsibility
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in hospitality and tourism programs.
- Design and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, to align with industry trends and academic standards.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career development, and industry networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with local hotels, resorts, and tourism organizations to create internship, fieldwork, and guest lecture opportunities for students.
- Conduct research and publish findings in academic journals or industry publications to contribute to the advancement of hospitality and tourism education.
- Organize and lead field trips, study tours, and industry visits to provide students with real-world exposure to Bali’s hospitality sector.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development committees, and university events to support institutional goals.
- Stay updated on global hospitality trends, sustainable tourism practices, and emerging technologies to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the hospitality or tourism industry (e.g., hotel management, event planning, travel consultancy, or resort operations).
- Prior teaching or training experience at the university level is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse student audiences.
- Familiarity with sustainable tourism, digital marketing for hospitality, or luxury service management is a plus.
- Passion for mentoring students and fostering their professional growth in the hospitality sector.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, industry partners, and university administration.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.
