Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and special dietary requirements.
  • Lead and assist in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of food items as required.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to plan menus and ensure timely meal service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and culinary concepts to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook or Leading Cook in a hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
  • Proven ability to prepare a variety of international and local cuisines with consistency and creativity.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Certification in culinary arts or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost control in a kitchen setting.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food.
