Responsibility
- Program Leadership: Own and drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional technical programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to define priorities, resolve dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute program roadmaps, resource allocation, and budget oversight to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address program risks, escalating critical issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Process Optimization: Streamline workflows, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and program scalability.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor program managers and technical leads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs, track progress, and present data-driven insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Innovation Advocacy: Champion best practices in Agile, DevOps, and technical program management to drive organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 8+ years in technical program management, with at least 3 years leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in tech or engineering.
- Technical Acumen: Strong background in software development, systems engineering, or related technical fields, with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Agile & Lean Expertise: Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban methodologies, and a track record of delivering in fast-paced environments.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable plans.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or Smartsheet.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus.
