Responsibility
- Develop, monitor, and refine production planning strategies to align with demand forecasts and business goals.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory turnover) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Lead capacity planning initiatives to balance production output with market demand and operational constraints.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to generate and maintain accurate production schedules.
- Identify risks in the supply chain (e.g., material shortages, delays) and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on production performance, KPIs, and variance analysis to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste in production processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain analytics, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
- Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Just-in-Time (JIT), or Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or APICS CPIM are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities.
