Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures for high-traffic applications
- Lead the development of robust API ecosystems and microservices platforms
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
- Mentor and guide senior engineers and development teams to deliver high-quality software
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security across our technology stack
- Drive innovation in data platform development and real-time processing solutions
- Participate in technical roadmap planning and architecture decision-making processes
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Expertise in modern backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Strong experience with API design (REST, GraphQL) and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with data platforms, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to mentor engineering teams
- Strong communication skills in English with experience working in distributed teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
