Responsibility
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability for our clients and internal teams.
- Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents, escalating complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, security patches, and system enhancements.
- Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network solutions to support business growth and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for critical network issues.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in network support, administration, or engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking equipment and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VPN).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Basic understanding of firewall configurations, security best practices, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA are a plus but not required.
