Responsibility
- Lead and execute penetration testing (black-box, gray-box, white-box) across web applications, networks, and cloud environments.
- Design and implement VAPT methodologies tailored to client requirements and industry standards (OWASP, NIST, PTES).
- Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities with clear, actionable remediation strategies.
- Develop comprehensive security assessment reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on advanced security testing techniques.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new attack vectors, tools, and defense mechanisms.
- Collaborate with clients to prioritize and mitigate risks based on business impact.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR) during assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as OSCP, CREST CRT, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (highly preferred).
- Expertise in tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, and custom scripts (Python/Bash).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, web application security, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to write detailed technical reports and present findings to C-level executives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hacker’s mindset with ethical integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
