In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, conduct regular inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibility
- Manage and minimize equipment downtime to maintain an uptime rate of 97% or higher.
- Submit detailed Equipment Uptime Monitoring Reports to the Quality Assurance team on a scheduled basis.
- Supervise, assess, and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of all property systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to property maintenance and safety.
- Lead emergency response efforts to address critical system failures and minimize disruptions to property operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven track record of managing equipment uptime and reducing downtime in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards related to property maintenance and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
