Responsibility
- Lead the development and implementation of quality control processes for new and existing products.
- Design and execute comprehensive validation and testing protocols to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to track performance and drive improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.
- Train and mentor quality assurance teams to uphold best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Review and approve engineering changes, specifications, and documentation to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in quality engineering, product development, or manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with design validation (DV), production validation (PV), and reliability testing.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities.
