Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of peritoneal dialysis nurses, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, administering peritoneal dialysis treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
- Educate patients and their families on peritoneal dialysis procedures, self-care techniques, and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff to enhance their skills in peritoneal dialysis care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of dialysis services.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Indonesian Nursing Council or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in peritoneal dialysis nursing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong clinical knowledge of peritoneal dialysis procedures, equipment, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare management systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in dialysis care.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
