Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of NOC engineers to ensure 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and resolution of network issues.
- Oversee the daily operations of the NOC, ensuring adherence to SLAs and maintaining high standards of service excellence.
- Develop and implement processes to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot complex network problems and implement long-term solutions.
- Monitor network infrastructure, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues before they impact service delivery.
- Prepare and present regular reports on NOC performance, incidents, and trends to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies for network operations and security.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the NOC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are highly desirable.
