Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design process for a major mobile gaming app, from concept to launch and iteration.
- Define and document game mechanics, systems, and user flows to ensure seamless gameplay.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, artists, QA) to align design with technical and artistic constraints.
- Drive player engagement by analyzing metrics and iterating on design based on user feedback and data insights.
- Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction to ensure consistency with the project’s vision.
- Prototype and test new game features, balancing innovation with feasibility.
- Work closely with product managers to align game design with business goals and market trends.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in mobile gaming and advocate for cutting-edge design practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in game design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and shipping successful mobile games or interactive apps.
- Expertise in game mechanics, level design, and player psychology.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Portfolio showcasing your design work, including shipped titles or prototypes.
