Responsibility
- Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Collect, sort, and process guest laundry, staff uniforms, and hotel linens efficiently.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, stains, or damages before folding or hanging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laundry facility at all times.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Ensure all laundry chemicals are used correctly in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure seamless guest service and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel laundry operations or a commercial laundry facility is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot stains or fabric irregularities.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle repetitive lifting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict turnaround deadlines.
- Basic understanding of garment care, fabric types, and laundry chemicals.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
