In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless execution of landscape designs by managing technical documentation, coordinating shop drawings, and resolving site-related technical queries. Responsibility
- Develop and review technical documentation, including landscape plans, sections, and details, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Coordinate with shop drawing submissions, verifying accuracy and alignment with design intent for landscape elements such as hardscapes, softscapes, and irrigation systems.
- Provide on-site technical clarifications to contractors, resolving discrepancies and ensuring adherence to design and construction standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate landscape solutions into broader project frameworks.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare as-built drawings and final documentation upon project completion.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices in landscape architecture.
- Assist in cost estimation and material procurement for landscape components.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in landscape technical documentation, preferably in a design or architecture firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with tropical landscape design and native plant species is an advantage.
