Responsibility
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Supervise and train laboratory staff, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and conduct quality control tests, analyzing results to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including test results, equipment calibration, and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research, development, and production objectives.
- Ensure laboratory facilities are well-maintained, clean, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Prepare and present reports on laboratory performance, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance practices in laboratory operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
