Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate all laboratory testing activities related to construction materials.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests on materials such as concrete, soil, and asphalt.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration and proper functioning.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on material specifications and testing methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in laboratory testing and quality control within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and testing standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO).
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Certification in quality management or related fields is a plus.
