The Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya is seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Employment Officer II to join our team in Bali, Indonesia. Responsibility
- Enforce labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with national and regional standards.
- Conduct inspections of workplaces to verify adherence to safety, health, and employment laws.
- Investigate and mediate labor disputes between employers and employees to achieve fair resolutions.
- Provide guidance and training to employers and workers on labor rights, obligations, and best practices.
- Develop and implement programs to promote fair employment practices and improve workplace conditions.
- Monitor and report on labor market trends, including employment rates, wages, and working conditions.
- Collaborate with government agencies, unions, and private sector stakeholders to address labor-related issues.
- Prepare and submit reports on labor inspections, disputes, and policy recommendations to senior officials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in labor relations, employment law, or a similar role, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to handle complex labor disputes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct inspections, investigations, and audits with attention to detail and impartiality.
- Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Certification or training in labor relations, mediation, or occupational health and safety is a plus.
