Responsibility
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients under the guidance of the kitchen staff.
- Ensure all dishwashing and pot-washing duties are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Organize and store kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment in designated areas to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials according to established procedures to uphold hygiene and sustainability practices.
- Support the kitchen team by restocking supplies and assisting with mise en place as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Work collaboratively with chefs, cooks, and other staff to ensure a seamless and efficient kitchen operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement: Junior High School (SMP) or Senior High School (SMA) diploma.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 20-25 kg), and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and order.
- No prior experience required, but previous work in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in Indonesian; basic English is a plus.
