Responsibility
- Assist the culinary team with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen staff by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment efficiently.
- Assist in organizing and stocking kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of the chef or senior kitchen staff.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices are followed.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Provide support during peak hours to ensure smooth and timely food service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
