Responsibility

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and storage spaces.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service periods.
  • Wash, peel, and prepare ingredients as directed by the culinary team to support food preparation.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Assist in the proper disposal of kitchen waste and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Support the kitchen team by restocking supplies and organizing inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during peak service times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Fluency in English is a plus; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial.
