Responsibility
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and storage spaces.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service periods.
- Wash, peel, and prepare ingredients as directed by the culinary team to support food preparation.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Assist in the proper disposal of kitchen waste and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Support the kitchen team by restocking supplies and organizing inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Fluency in English is a plus; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial.
