Responsibility
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and daily requirements.
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen workspace at all times.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Adhere to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency.
- Participate in kitchen setup, breakdown, and equipment maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary environment (entry-level candidates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding food quality and presentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine is a plus.
