Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and packing of food items according to established standards and recipes.
- Ensure all packed items are labeled, sealed, and stored correctly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by efficiently managing packing and preparation tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels of packing materials (e.g., containers, wraps) and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow strict hygiene and food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure customer safety.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to streamline workflow and meet daily targets.
- Assist in unloading and organizing deliveries, ensuring ingredients are stored properly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a kitchen, food packing, or similar role (preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 15 kg).
- Disciplined, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English or Indonesian.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
