Responsibility
- Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment and tools safely.
- Organize and restock ingredients, supplies, and storage areas efficiently.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish quality.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to establishment standards.
- Handle basic inventory tasks and report low stock to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus (entry-level candidates with enthusiasm are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is advantageous.
