Responsibility

  • Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment and tools safely.
  • Organize and restock ingredients, supplies, and storage areas efficiently.
  • Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish quality.
  • Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to establishment standards.
  • Handle basic inventory tasks and report low stock to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus (entry-level candidates with enthusiasm are welcome).
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning.
  • Fluency in English or Indonesian is advantageous.
