We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations in preparing authentic Japanese dishes. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure smooth operations under the guidance of our experienced chefs. While our kitchen handles pork-based dishes, this role does not require tasting or consuming pork products.

Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients for Japanese dishes, including cutting, washing, and organizing.
- Support kitchen staff in maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Help with inventory management, including stocking and rotating supplies.
- Assist in basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as boiling, steaming, or frying.
- Ensure timely preparation of mise en place for service.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient kitchen workflow.
- Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
