Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and following recipes under supervision.
- Ensure all food storage areas are stocked, labeled, and rotated according to food safety standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and accuracy.
- Follow hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation during peak hours.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as sharpening knives and cleaning kitchen tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality role is a plus but not required.
