Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook ramen noodles, broths, and toppings according to RamenYA!’s recipes and standards.
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety compliance at all times, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Manage ingredient inventory, including stock rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to maintain visual appeal and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including stoves, fryers, and steamers.
  • Support opening/closing duties, such as cleaning, restocking, and organizing the kitchen.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service role (experience in Japanese cuisine is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
  • Fluency in English or Bahasa Indonesia (bilingual is a plus).
